Stefan is a recent graduate from University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Neuroscience and a minor in General Biology. In high school while participating in roller hockey, soccer, cross country and track, Stefan discovered that he was fascinated with sports medicine. During college, Stefan interned at the Palomar Health Pathmaker Internship, where he mainly volunteered in the Physical Therapy department in the hospital. Later, he became the Department Coordinator of that hospital's Surgical and Trauma Intensive Care Unit, managing over 50 interns. Also he volunteered at a sports physical therapy clinic specializing in sports medicine. With so much time in the hospital and in a physical therapy setting, it became clear that working in this field allowed himself to truly help others.
